When you select Stylize this PDF from the Edit menu in the Global bar, an overlay banner immediately presents you with options. This banner enhances productivity by reducing the time spent searching through Adobe Express for specific tools such as adding shapes and icons, resizing pages, applying color themes, adding Stock images, changing page backgrounds, or receiving font recommendations.

• If you select any other feature, such as the Apply color theme, the color theme panel will pen in Adobe Express on the web.
• If you select the Resize page, the resize panel opens in Adobe Express in a web browser.
• If you select Add shapes and icons, the file will open in Adobe Express in a web browser.
• The elements panel will be open in the left pane with the shapes tab open.
• If you select Change background color, the file opens in Adobe Express with the Background color panel open.

What happens to the PDF I HAVE open in Acrobat?

When you select an Adobe Express design tool within Acrobat, the PDF you have open will be converted to a new and separate Adobe Express file, and a new browser tab will open with Adobe Express. You can then make changes to the Express file in Adobe Express. Your original PDF will still be open and accessible within Acrobat.

Will the changes that I made in Express also BE reflectED in my PDF in Acrobat?

No, your PDF in Acrobat won’t be updated with changes you make to the Express file. Your original PDF will remain the same. In Adobe Express, your new Express file will be saved to Your stuff (in Home or Editor) and Recent (in Home). It will also appear in your Recent list in Acrobat online so you can locate it easily.

How can I access MY FILE that I edited in Express?

Within Express, the file will be saved in Your stuff (in Home or Editor) and Recent (in Home). 

Within Acrobat online, the file will be saved as an Express file in the Recent list. If you select this file to edit, you’ll be taken to Adobe Express.

How can I DOWNLOAD a PDF in ADOBE Express?

Press the Download button, then select PDF (best for documents) as the file format. Your Express file will be converted to a PDF and downloaded to your desktop. You can then open it in Acrobat. 

How can I share my edited document with others? 

Within Adobe Express, press the Share button, then select Invite collaborators or one of the other options for sharing. 

Which file types and sizes are supported?

Most PDFs can be converted to Adobe Express files. These types of files aren’t currently supported:

• Files larger than 99MB
  

• File with more than 99 pages

• Encrypted, password-protected, and restricted-access files 

• XFA documents, that is, files with interactive and dynamic form fields

• Files with content in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or right-to-left languages
