Adobe cloud storage retention policy for inactive free accounts

Files hosted in Creative Cloud and Digital Cloud storage will be permanently deleted for users on free Adobe plans if there's been no activity for 18 months. Users receive an email notification at least 90 days before file deletion.

This policy affects files in Creative Cloud documents, Creative Cloud libraries, and Document Cloud files. Lightroom or Frame.io cloud storage content remains unaffected.

To retain your files in Adobe cloud storage on a free plan, log in to your Adobe.com account before the deletion date mentioned in the email notification, and ensure you log in at least once every 18 months thereafter.

If you want to keep your content in Adobe cloud storage for future use, log in to your Adobe.com account
before reaching 18 months of inactivity, and continue logging in every 18 months on a free plan.

If you wish to keep your existing content in Adobe cloud storage but won't be using Adobe cloud storage in the future, log in before 18 months of inactivity, and download your content to your local device(s).

If you've stopped using Adobe products and services and no longer need your files hosted in Adobe cloud storage, you can choose to do nothing, and your content will be deleted after 18 months of inactivity on a free plan.
