Granting access after purchase
Firefly Creative Production is a no-code interface that allows production teams to easily accelerate tedious work, such as removing image backgrounds or cropping in large volumes. Customers can access Firefly Creative Production in one of two ways, using a Firefly Services entitlement or as a standalone product.
If customers purchase Firefly Services, how do they get access to Firefly Creative Production?
Customers who purchase Firefly Services receive access to Firefly Creative Production as part of their entitlement. However, for Firefly Services customers, Firefly Creative Production will not appear as a separate product card in the Admin Console. Instead, Admins must assign both the Firefly Services product and an Adobe plan with storage, for example, Creative Cloud for Enterprise v4/v4+ or Express, to users in order to activate access to Firefly Creative Production. Learn how to assign users to Firefly Creative Production.
If customers purchase Firefly Creative Production as a standalone product, how do they get access?
In this scenario, if a customer does not have a Firefly Services entitlement and has purchased Firefly Creative Production on its own, then Firefly Creative Production appears as its own product card in the Admin Console. Admins can assign this product card to users independently of Firefly Services, along with the required storage plan.
Reporting
Will volume usage or other types of reporting be available for FCP?
Metering for Firefly Creative Production isn’t currently available but will be coming soon. When metering is available, admins will be able to track Operations, which are the consumption metric for Firefly Creative Production.
Operations and limits
Is it possible to cap the volume of Operations or limit it by user?
Usage of Firefly Creative Production is measured in Operations. At this time, the customer contract establishes the Operations limit at the organization level, but there is no way to set per-user limits through the Admin Console.
