What information will users in my organization see?
The new version of Adobe Express was released on the web on August 16, 2023. In the month before the release, users saw an in-product notification each time they opened a video file in the old version of Adobe Express. The notification informed users that when the new version of Adobe Express was available on the web:
- They would no longer be able to edit video files previously created on the web.
- They would still have limited access to existing video files to download them as an MP4, delete, or unpublish.
- They would be able to make new videos in the new version of Adobe Express.
With the release of the new version of Adobe Express on mobile, users will see in-product notifications when they open the Spark Video and Spark Page iOS apps.
Spark Video: The Spark Video mobile notification informs iPhone users that if they’ve recently downloaded (or completed an update to) the new Adobe Express mobile app, any existing Spark Video files have been migrated there. These Spark Video files will no longer be editable but can be downloaded within the Adobe Express mobile app. If they haven’t yet updated their Adobe Express mobile app, they’ll be encouraged to wrap up any Spark Video projects before doing so. The notification will link to this page so that users can learn more. Users will be encouraged to check out the new Adobe Express mobile app for video editing.
Spark Page: The Spark Page mobile notification informs iPhone users that if they’ve recently downloaded (or completed an update to) the new Adobe Express mobile app, any existing Spark Page files have been migrated there. These files will remain editable in the Adobe Express mobile app. The notification will link to this page so that users can learn more.
I have new iPad devices and new users joining my organization. How do I get them access to Spark Video and Spark Page?
The Spark Video and Spark Page mobile apps have been unlisted from the Apple App Store. If users on new iPad devices in your organization need access to these apps before they're no longer available (once the new Adobe Express supports tablets), use the direct links to download Spark Video and Spark Page:
For iPhone users, we recommend an even better experience in the new Adobe Express mobile app.
