Learn how to create text layouts in Adobe Photoshop that automatically resize and reflow typography to fit the bounding box.

Select the Type tool, then select existing text or add new text.

Select Type > Convert to Dynamic Text, or Toggle Dynamic Text   from the Options bar, to convert the text frame into a bounding box.

Select Window > Properties to open the Properties panel.

In the Dynamic Text section, adjust text spacing:

  • Set spacing between words: Adjusts word gaps.
  • Set spacing between lines: Adjusts line gaps.

Select the text shape: Block. You can also select Circle, Arch, or Bow to shape Dynamic Text along curved paths, available in Photoshop (beta) on desktop.

Drag the corners or sides to resize the text, and it automatically reflows to fit the bounding box.
