Learn about the differences in interface, features, and workflows in XD with a Feature Restricted License (FRL) compared to a Creative Cloud license.
In general, workflows related to XD cloud documents and Creative Cloud Libraries are unavailable in the FRL environment. To learn about the FRL in general, see Feature Restricted Licensing | Overview.
To check if you have an FRL version, navigate to the following and look for FRL next to the version number:
macOS: XD > About XD
Windows: Help > About XD
Access to monthly updates with new features and bug fixes will lag by a few releases for FRL licenses. This limitation is in contrast to the Creative Cloud subscribers who can access updates immediately.
