Learn how to download, install, manage, cancel, and permanently delete your Adobe Lightroom subscription on iOS devices.

Adobe Lightroom for mobile (iOS) is a free, powerful, and easy-to-use photo editor. You can upgrade your free Lightroom app to a paid subscription to get premium features and more storage. Premium features give you precise editing controls and seamless access to your photos across all your devices – mobile, desktop, and web.

If you've upgraded to the Lightroom Premium subscription via the App Store, Google Play Store, or Samsung Galaxy Store, then you can use Lightroom on mobile only.

You can download a free version of Lightroom on your iOS device from the App Store.

Upgrade to a paid Lightroom subscription

Follow these steps to upgrade the free version of Lightroom on your iOS device to access premium features and upgraded storage:

  1. Launch the Lightroom app on your iOS device.

  2. Tap the  icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and then tap Premium Features.

  3. Tap Upgrade.

  4. Follow the prompts to purchase a Lightroom subscription with premium features and more cloud storage.

Cancel your Lightroom for iOS subscription

Any Lightroom subscription that you purchase from the App Store is managed by Apple through your iTunes account. You can cancel your subscription using the App Store app on your iOS devices.

Delete your Adobe account

Starting Lightroom for mobile (iOS) v7.3 (April 2022 release), you can directly delete your Adobe account from your Lightroom iOS app.

To delete your Adobe account directly from the Lightroom iOS app, follow the steps below: 

  1. Open your Lightroom iOS app. Tap App Settings.

  2. Tap on your profile and tap Delete Adobe Account.

Note

It is recommended to back up your files before deleting your Adobe account as the data is permanently deleted from the cloud and cannot be retrieved later. For more information on how to delete your account permanently, see Delete your Adobe account.
