Learn how to access and use reset options to restore preferences, presets, and plugin settings when troubleshooting launch issues.

In the Reset options dialog box, select the required options:
- Reset app preferences: Restores default settings (custom shortcuts and presets remain), but deletes watchfolders and workspaces.
- Reset user presets: Deletes all the user presets and resets the preset browser.
- Reset plugin loading cache: Clears plugin data to fix potential issues.
- Disable third-party video plugins (one-time only): Temporarily turns off third-party plugins for troubleshooting.
Select one or more reset options to customize how Media Encoder restarts.

Select Relaunch with Options to apply the selected resets and continue launching the app.
The Media Encoder restarts with your selected reset options applied. If you're still having issues, try clearing caches or disabling third-party plugins again.
