Cut, copy, and paste text and images to and from the iOS clipboard

You can cut, copy, and paste text between Photoshop on the iPad and other apps, such as Notes, on your machine. Tap your selected text on the canvas to view the pop-up menu and choose from the listed actions.

For text selections, refer to this table to know more about the actions available with our improved pop-up menus.

You can also cut, copy, and paste images between Photoshop on the iPad and apps, including Notes.

To paste images in Photoshop on the iPad, you can either choose Paste from the Layer actions menu or tap the + icon and choose Paste as new layer.

To paste from Photoshop on the iPad, use the Lasso tool to make a selection and choose from Cut, Copy selection or Copy merged to paste it into a different app. Similarly, while on an image layer, open the Layer actions menu and choose either Cut, Copy selection, or Copy merged.

Bulk delete from the Files tab

Delete more than one file from the Files tab of your app.  

Navigate to the Files tab > Your files. Use the checkbox to select ( ) one or more files and hit Delete.

Target layer on canvas

With the latest release of Photoshop on the iPad, select your preferred layer or bounding box directly on the canvas without navigating to its thumbnail view on the taskbar. Or, once selected, tap outside the transform bounding box and move the layer.

You can also add text to images, apply filters, and make adjustments without slowing down your workflow. 

This feature is enabled by default but can be disabled from the Move tool settings.

Your photo compositing workflows just hit their sweet spot with this feature.
