Learn about the new feature and other enhancements in the June 2023 release of Photoshop on the iPad (version 4.7)

Add Stroke and Drop shadow layer effects

Add Stroke or Drop shadow effects to a layer by navigating to Layer properties > Effects > Add layer effect.

Your designated layer will be marked with the   icon, and you'll be able to adjust different sliders, such as Blend mode, Opacity, Size, and Position.

You can also use the three-dot icon for Layer effect actions to hide or delete actions or reset to default.

Customize double-tap options when using the Apple pencil

Work with more options when you double-tap your Apple pencil on the iPad.

Go to App settings > Input > Double tap drop-down menu to choose from these options: Show color picker, Switch to eraser, Switch to last tool, Zoom to fit, and Undo.
