Apply motion tracking in video clips

Motion Tracking gives you the ability to track moving objects in a video clip. You can attach clipart like still images, graphics, or video clips to these objects. To track an object in a video clip, follow these steps:

  1. Import your video clip to the timeline.

  2. Select the clip.

  3. In the action bar, select Tools > Motion Tracking.

  4. Click Select Object. A resizeable frame appears in the monitor. You can resize the frame by dragging on the corner circles.

  5. Click Track Object. It takes some time to apply motion tracking on the clip.

  6. Click the Play button or press spacebar to view the clip with motion tracking applied on the intended object.

Applying clipart to an object

To apply clipart to an object in a video clip, follow these steps:

  1. In the action bar, click Graphics.

  2. Select a graphic and drag-drop to the object you are tracking.

  3. Click the Play button or press spacebar to view the clip with motion tracking applied on the intended object’s clipart.
