Use the in-app guidance to help users review new features, answer questions, and keep up to date with changes in Acrobat Sign.

Acrobat Sign includes optional built-in Help tools that give users in-app guidance, onboarding, and direct access to support documentation.

Options allow for a banner on the Home page, highlighting new updates and events, and a floating help icon on the Home, Manage, and Personal Preferences / Admin tabs.

Availability:

  • Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro: Not Supported
  • Acrobat Sign Solutions: Supported
  • Acrobat Sign for Government: Not Supported

This feature can be configured at the account and group level. Learn more about admin access controls.

Access this feature by navigating the administrator's configuration menu to Global Settings > In-Product Messaging and Guidance

Configuration options include:

When enabled, the help icon appears in the lower-right corner of the window.
You can click and drag the icon to any other spot within the window, and it stays in place as you move between views in Acrobat Sign. The position resets when you start a new session.

How it's used

Selecting the help icon opens the virtual assistant. The assistant searches Adobe help content and suggests relevant articles and videos based on the question.

Users can type questions in plain language—no technical jargon needed. The assistant interprets the request and returns help articles that match the intent.

Tip

Select the Expand/Reduce icon in the upper-left corner to expand and contract the assistant's reading window

When enabled, a What's new banner appears at the top of the Home page, identifying the most recent events or updates to the system.

The banner is expanded by default, but can be collapsed by the user.

Each event listed has a short summary of the topic and a link to more details.

Selecting the View all button to the right of the current topics opens the Product Updates page that holds a larger list of events previously posted in the What's new banner.
