You can use Adobe Acrobat Reader to fill and sign a PDF that you create using Adobe Scan. To do so, open your scanned PDF, tap > Open in Acrobat. It opens the document in Acrobat Reader or prompts you to install the app if you do not have the app installed on your mobile.

Once the PDF opens in Acrobat Reader, tap > Fill & Sign. It opens the fill and sign mode where you can fill a form and add signatures.

Adobe Acrobat Reader uses Form Field Recognition, powered by Adobe Sensei, to intelligently detect and suggest fields - such as name, address, signature, or checkboxes - to get your forms filled and signed even faster.

Yes, Adobe Scan lets you scan and automatically import business cards into your device contacts, without having to type them in. You can scan multiple business cards as a multi-page scan, and select the ones you want to import.

  1. Open your Contacts app.
  2. Select the contact you’d like to add to Outlook.
  3. Select Share Contact (iOS) or Share as vCard (Android), and then choose Outlook.
  4. Open the attachment in your Outlook desktop app and then select Save and Close.

Yes, you can email contacts that you’ve uploaded with Adobe Scan from your native email app. To do so, you type in their name and select their information from the drop-down menu.

No. Adobe Scan is a free, stand-alone app. However, with a subscription to Acrobat Pro, you can combine your scans with other documents into a single PDF file that can be edited from desktop, mobile, or web. Images and text from your scanned PDFs also become fully editable on desktop.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is a powerful tool designed to create, manipulate, manage, and print PDF files. You can use Acrobat Reader app to edit, fill, sign, annotate, highlight, and search text in PDFs that is created using Adobe Scan.

When you subscribe to Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Export PDFAdobe Acrobat PDF Pack, or Adobe Acrobat Pro, you unlock premium features to do even more with your PDFs.

 

You can use a single tap to open your scans in Adobe Acrobat Reader where you can easily annotate, highlight, and search text from your scans.

When you subscribe to Acrobat Pro, images and text from your scans become fully editable on desktop. Your files are then accessible from wherever you use Adobe Document Cloud - across desktop, mobile, and web.

Yes, you can import photos of paper and whiteboards into Adobe Scan. Select the Images icon on your Recent or All Scans tab for Adobe Scan to automatically recognize and retrieve photos of documents and forms from your library.

You can also share images from your photo library by tapping the share icon when viewing your photos and choose Adobe Scan.

You can save your original image as a .jpg file by tapping Settings > Preferences and then turn on the Save Originals to Photos feature.

Optical Character Recognition or OCR is a smart technology that converts scanned images into editable and searchable data. Adobe Scan automatically applies OCR to your document and converts it to a fully editable copy of your PDF.

However, you may disable automatic text recognition (OCR) by tapping Settings > Preferences and then tap Run text recognition button to disable it.

Yes, you can change the language by tapping Settings > Preferences > Text recognition language, and then select your preferred language.
