As part of the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements release, we’re offering a mobile companion app that makes it easy to upload photos and videos to the cloud and then do more sophisticated editing in the Elements desktop apps.
The app is available as a public beta to the licensed users of :
- Photoshop Elements 2025 and Premiere Elements 2025 desktop applications
- Photoshop Elements 2024 and Premiere Elements 2024 desktop applications
- Photoshop Elements 2023 and Premiere Elements 2023 desktop applications
We are also offering a free 7-day trial of the mobile apps. The app supports Android v9 or higher and iOS 14.5 or higher.
Here’s what you can do with the Adobe Elements mobile app (Beta):
- Upload photos and videos to the cloud for access in the Elements desktop and web apps.
- Access, view, and share photos and videos.
- One-click Quick Actions for photos - Auto Crop, Auto Straighten, Auto Tone, Auto White Balance, Remove Background.
- Basic editing for photos: crop, rotate, transform, change aspect ratio.
- Adjustments for photos - Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Temperature, Tint, Vibrance, Saturation etc.

Use your Adobe ID to log in to the app. You don’t need a serial number or redemption code.

How to install the iOS beta app
To install the iOS companion app, you’ll need Apple TestFlight. The Adobe Elements mobile companion is a beta app, and Apple limits the number of users to 10,000. If downloads have reached the limit, you’ll be notified that the app isn’t accessible.
Here’s how to get started:
TestFlight will notify you each time a new app build is available, and it will let you know what’s new in the latest build. If you have TestFlight 3 or later, you can turn on automatic updates to have the latest builds install automatically.

The Android and iOS mobile apps support the following formats:
- Photos: GIF, HEIC, JPEG, JPG, and PNG
- Videos: 3gp, 3gpp, avi, HEVC, m2v, m4v, mov, mp4, mpeg, mpg, and WMV
Tap the blue media icon in the lower right corner. You'll be taken to your phone library where you can choose the media to upload. Once your media is uploaded to the cloud, you’ll see a thumbnail on the Home screen, the media will appear automatically in the Adobe Elements web app and be accessible to download and use in the desktop apps.
Any media you upload to the cloud from the mobile app or web app will be viewable in the mobile app on the Home screen.
No. At the moment, the mobile apps are only available for use on phones.
Deleted media can be accessed in the Deleted Media tab of the Library screen. You've 30 days from the date of deletion to restore it.

No, the web and mobile companion apps are available to licensed users of Photoshop Elements 2023 or Premiere Elements 2023.
Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial of the mobile app. Follow the installation instructions above to download and install the Android or iOS app. Sign in with your Adobe ID. Click on "Start Trial" when prompted. To continue to use the mobile app after the trial expires, you will need to purchase, install, and activate the Photoshop Elements 2023 or Premiere Elements 2023 desktop application.
Your media will appear in the Home screen based on the date the media was captured.
Your photos and videos are uploaded to Creative Cloud storage, where you can access them via the Adobe Elements web and mobile beta companion apps on your phone, your web browser, and the Elements desktop apps.
Yes, your media is stored in the Creative Cloud so will use existing storage.
- iOS app - click on your profile image in the top bar, click on your name/Adobe ID in the menu that opens, and you can see the amount of cloud storage used and available.
- Android app - click on Elements logo in the left of top bar, from the opened menu select “My Account” option, and you can see the amount of cloud storage used and available.
You can buy more storage here. Alternatively, you can permanently delete some media to free up storage.
