Customize the room interface

Complete administrator guide for customizing the Adobe Connect room interface with your organization’s branded colors, logos, and visual elements.

Adobe Connect allows administrators to customize the visual appearance of rooms that reflect their organization’s branding. By customizing colors, logos, and interface elements, you can transform the standard Adobe Connect interface into a professional environment that reinforces your brand and enhances participant engagement.

Understand the customization options

Adobe Connect provides the following customization options for various interface elements:

Logo and Branding elements

  • Logo: Upload your organization’s logo to be displayed in the room’s top bar.
  • Logo Redirection Link: Define a URL that participants are taken to when they select the logo (e.g., your organization’s homepage or help center).
  • Logo Alternate Text: Add descriptive text for screen readers to improve accessibility.
Color customization
  • Top Bar Color: Customize the background color of the room’s top navigation bar.
  • Icon Color: Set a color for icons displayed in the room interface.
  • Room Background Color: Choose a background color that aligns with your brand.
  • Pod Title Bar Color: Modify the color of pod headers for better visual alignment.
  • Pod Title Text and Icon Color: Personalize the text and icon color within pod headers.

To change the room interface across the sessions:

  1. Select Admin > Customization.

  2. Select the Room interface tab.

  3. (Optional) Select Upload logo in the Preferences panel.

    Note

    This logo appears only in the Connect Central interface, which is visible to admins and hosts. Participants will only see the session interface.

    • Accepted formats: .svg, .jpg, or .png
    • Maximum size: 50px wide × 31px high
  4. (Optional) In the Preferences panel, enter a Redirection link to open a specific URL when participants click the logo. This link allows you to direct users to additional online information, such as your organization’s website or support page.

  5. (Optional) In the Preferences panel, enter Alternate text to describe the logo for users relying on accessibility tools. This is hidden HTML text that aids accessibility.

  6. (Optional) Configure the session colors in the Preferences panel for the following elements:

    • Room top bar
    • Room icons
    • Room background
    • Pod title bar
    • Pod title text and icons

  7. Select Apply to save the changes.

Note
  • Select Reset to default to return to the default settings or choose Clear to start over. 
  •  If you do not prefer to set your own colors, select View Templates and then select from the preconfigured colors.
