Set up a Simulated Live webinar

Learn how to schedule and set up a Simulated Live webinar in Adobe Connect.

Adobe Connect allows you to deliver Simulated Live webinars using pre-recorded video. The setup follows a structured flow as:

  • Create a Simulated Live webinar room in Adobe Connect.
  • Upload your pre-recorded MP4 video to the room.
  • Customize the Lobby, Playback, and Outro layouts to match your session flow.
  • Add interactive pods such as ChatQ&A, and Polls to boost engagement.
  • Rehearse the session using Preview Mode to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Launch the webinar at the scheduled time.

Schedule a Simulated Live webinar

Perform the following steps to schedule a Simulated Live webinar:

  1. Navigate to the top menu bar of the Adobe Connect Central page.

  2. Select Seminars and then select My Seminars to create a Simulated Live webinar.

  3. Select New Seminar Room.

  4. Enter the meeting information.

  5. Select Enable Simulated Live. This will automatically select a predefined template for the Simulated Live webinar in the Select Template dropdown.

  6. Select Save.
