Create and edit designs with AI Assistant in a few simple steps.
AI Assistant is under active development and testing, and we are collecting feedback to improve the experience. AI Assistant is available in Adobe Express on desktop and in English (US) only. Access is limited and will be rolled out gradually. Use of AI Assistant is subject to Adobe's Terms of Use.
To use AI Assistant, you must have a personal account (not part of Teams, Enterprise, or Education plans). Both Premium and Free users are eligible for AI Assistant access. To confirm your eligibility, visit the AI Assistant landing page.
No sign-up form is needed to join the beta. You can visit the AI Assistant landing page to get started. If you meet the eligibility criteria, a welcome message will appear. Access is limited and will be rolled out gradually. If capacity has been reached, you'll see a message saying "coming soon."
AI Assistant helps you explore, create, and edit content with just a few prompts. Current limitations of AI Assistant include the following:
- It interprets prompts to perform design actions but doesn't engage in back-and-forth dialogue.
- It doesn't retain user memory, past projects, or offer personalization features.
- It doesn't support every Adobe Express feature. If a prompt isn't supported, you'll receive a notification, and you can try to rephrase or explore the supported capabilities.
AI Assistant capabilities vary based on your plan and available generative credits. Both Premium and Free users can explore, create, and edit content using prompts.
Premium plans: With a Premium plan, you can:
- Use premium features available in the AI Assistant, such as Resize.
- Use a monthly allotment of credits that can be used to generate content with the AI Assistant, such as generating a new image from a prompt.
Free plan: With the Free plan, you receive a daily allotment of complimentary generations, which can be used to generate content with the AI Assistant, like generating a new image from a prompt. Complimentary generation allotments reset daily.
Refer to this table to understand which actions consume generative credits or complimentary generations.
| Actions that do not consume generative credits or complimentary generations |

Free users receive a daily allotment of complimentary generations that can be used for actions that typically consume generative credits. For Premium users, generative credits are deducted from the monthly allowance.
AI Assistant is available worldwide, except for China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. However, it's available in English (US) only.
