Learn how to quickly isolate the subject or background of an image with the Tap select tool in Photoshop on mobile.
Select Select area > Tap select .
Select the subject of the image you’d like to edit.
Note
- Select Add to selection or Subtract from selection and then draw over areas you wish to add or remove from your selection as needed.
- For more precise selection, you can directly select the desired subject within the image to highlight it on the canvas.
Select the more options menu and choose from the following as needed:
- Select all: Select all content in the active layer.
- Sample all layers: Select multiple layers to apply changes to.
- Invert selection: Invert the selection so that the deselected area becomes the selection.
- Clear selection: Clear the selection.
Once the selection looks good, select the checkmark .
