Learn how to easily create videos using simple text descriptions in Firefly on mobile.

Note:

This workflow applies to Firefly on mobile for iOS and Android devices. Unless otherwise specified, the feature functions the same across platforms.

  1. Open Firefly on mobile.

  2. On the home screen, tap Text to video.

  3. In the Prompt field, enter a detailed description of the video you want to generate.

    Tip:

To include text in the generated video, place it within double quotes. For example, if you want the video to display the word TREE, include "TREE" in the prompt.

Generate section is open, presenting a Prompt field for entering text to generate a video and additional options like Keyframes, General, and more.
Enter a brief text description of the video you’d like to generate.

  4. Tap General > Model to choose from Adobe or non-Adobe video models.

  5. Select the resolution from 540p720p, or 1080p.

  6. Tap Aspect Ratio and choose Widescreen (16:9), Vertical (9:16), or Square(1:1).

  7. Tap Camera > Shot Size to make changes related to video motion.

    • None: Use the default framing with no specific emphasis on subject size.
    • Extreme close up: Zoom in to highlight tiny details, such as an eye or a fingertip.
    • Close up shot: Focus tightly on a subject’s face or key feature to draw attention.
    • Medium shot: Frame the subject to include their form and some background for context.
    • Long shot: Show the complete subject and their surroundings to establish context.
    • Extreme long shot: Capture a wide view of the scene to place the subject within a broader environment.
  8. Tap Camera Angle and choose from the options:

    • None: Use the standard camera angle with no specific positioning.
    • Aerial shot: View the scene from a high elevation, like footage from a drone or helicopter.
    • Eye level shot: Align the camera with the subject’s height for a natural, neutral perspective.
    • High angle shot: Position the camera above the subject to look down and reduce its visual dominance.
    • Low angle shot: Shoot from below the subject to emphasize height.
    • Top down shot: Capture the subject from directly overhead for a flat, bird’s-eye perspective.
  9. Tap Motion to control how the camera moves within the generated video:

    • Zoom in: Gradually bring the camera closer to the subject, enlarging its presence over time.
    • Zoom out: Gradually remove the camera from the subject, reducing its visual size as the video plays.
    • Move left: Pan the camera horizontally toward the left side of the frame.
    • Move right: Pan the camera horizontally toward the right side of the frame.
    • Tilt up: Angle the camera lens upward to reveal the content over the current frame.
    • Tilt down: Angle the camera lens downward to show what lies over the current view.
    • Static: Keep the camera still, with no directional movement throughout the shot.
    • Handheld: Mimic the natural motion of a handheld camera, adding slight shakes for a dynamic, unsteady look.
  10. Tap Advanced > Seed option to control randomness.

    Note:

Entering the same seed, prompt, and settings will generate similar video results.

  11. Tap the Generate  icon to generate the video.

  12. Tap the Download icon to download the video.

Note:

All of your generated videos will be saved in the Files page automatically.
