Close any open Adobe apps that use Libraries.

Error "Something went wrong initializing Creative Cloud Libraries"
When attempting to use the Creative Cloud Libraries in supported desktop applications or in the Creative Cloud desktop app, the panel doesn't load and returns the following error:
Something went wrong initializing Creative Cloud Libraries.
How to work around the error
Try these solutions in the given sequence. Continue to the next solution only if a previous one doesn't work.

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Use the following keyboard shortcuts:
- macOS: Command+Option+R
- Windows: Ctrl+Alt+R
This relaunches Creative Cloud and all its supporting processes, including the Creative Cloud Libraries.

Relaunch the Creative Cloud app in which you received the Libraries error.

Close all the Creative Cloud applications.

Sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Navigate to the following folder.
- macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/
- Windows: C:\Users\[Your User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
Note:
- macOS: The Library folder is hidden on the macOS. To reveal it, see Can't see user library files in Mac OS X 10.7 and later.
- Windows: The AppData folder is hidden on the Windows OS. To reveal it, see Show hidden files and folders in Windows 10 and earlier.
- macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/

Delete the Creative Cloud Libraries folder.

Log into your account on the Creative Cloud desktop app, then relaunch the Creative Cloud app where you encountered the Libraries error.

Navigate to the following folder:
- macOS: /etc
- Windows: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Note:
macOS: This folder is normally hidden. In Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder. Then, type in "/etc" (without quotes) and select the Go button.

Open the hosts file (in a simple text editor like Notepad or TextEdit).

Verify that you do not have any Adobe websites listed. If any are listed, you can delete them or add # at the beginning of the line to comment them out.
For example, change:
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
to
#127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

Verify that you have the following line and that it is not commented out (does not have # at the beginning):
127.0.0.1 localhost

macOS X
If your network is managed via Auto proxy discovery or Automatic proxy configuration, see Configuration of proxy by a network administrator.

Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.

Select Network.

Select Advanced.
-
Select the Proxies tab.

Ensure that the option Exclude Simple Hostnames is selected.
Windows 10 or later
If your network is managed via Automatically detect settings or Use setup script, see Configuration of proxy by a network administrator.

In the search box, type Change proxy settings and open the corresponding search result.

Scroll to the bottom of the Proxy Settings dialog box and ensure that the option Don't use proxy server for local (intranet) addresses is selected.
Windows 7
If you network is managed via Automatically detect settings or Use automatic configuration script, see Configuration of proxy by a network administrator.

Type "Internet Explorer" in the Windows search bar. Then select Internet Explorer.

Select the Tools icon (Gear icon in IE 9+) and choose Internet Options from the menu.

Go to the Connections tab and select LAN settings.

Ensure that the Bypass proxy server for local addresses option is selected.
Configuration of proxy by a network administrator
If your network is managed by a network administrator using the Auto proxy discovery or Automatic proxy configuration options on macOS or Automatically detect settings or Use automatic configuration script on Windows, learn how to enable Creative Cloud Libraries.
Ask your organization's network administrator to perform the following steps:

Open the PAC/WPAD proxy configuration file.

Ensure that the following setting is present:

Fix issue for Adobe XD and Adobe Fresco on Windows 10
I am facing this issue in a Creative Cloud app on macOS X 10.12.
I am facing this issue on Adobe XD for Windows 10 or later.
I am facing this issue on Adobe Fresco for Windows 10 or later.
If Creative Cloud Libraries don't load in a Creative Cloud app on macOS X 10.12, and the above solutions don't fix the issue, try upgrading your operating system. Creative Cloud Libraries support macOS X 10.13 High Sierra or later operating systems.
Fix error for Adobe XD on Windows 10 or later
If Creative Cloud Libraries doesn't load in Adobe XD on Windows, and the above solutions don't fix the issue, try the following steps.

Quit Adobe XD.

In the Windows search box, type "Powershell", and open the Powershell command prompt.

Type one of the following commands and press Enter.
- XD 48 and earlier: CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -a -n="Adobe.CC.XD_adky2gkssdxte"
- XD49 and later: CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -a -n="Adobe.XD_pc75e8sa7ep4e"

Open Adobe XD again.
Your Creative Cloud Libraries are displayed.
Fix error for Adobe Fresco on Windows 10 or later
If Creative Cloud Libraries doesn't load in Adobe Fresco on Windows, and the above solutions don't fix the issue, try the following steps.

Quit Adobe Fresco.

In the search box, type "Powershell" and open the Powershell command prompt.

Type the following command and press Enter.
CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -a -n="Adobe.Fresco_pc75e8sa7ep4e"

Open Adobe Fresco again.
