Learn how to hide Adobe fonts in programs using Adobe Fonts.

You can use the Fonts Control Panel on Windows or Font Book on Mac to hide your fonts in Adobe programs.

Hide fonts on Windows

  1. Open the Control Panel and select Appearance and Personalization.

  2. Select Fonts.

  3. Select the font you want to hide.

  4. Right-click on the font and select Hide.

Hide fonts on Mac

  1. Open Font Book.

  2. Select the font you want to hide.

  3. Right-click on the font and select Hide.

Note:

Adobe applications may still show hidden fonts because they can't detect the hidden status set by the Fonts Control Panel. Therefore, even if you hide a font, it may still appear in Adobe applications like Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
