Adobe Express add-ons overview

Learn about the add-ons and different methods to publish them.

Adobe Express add-ons are extensions and integrations that allow connections to third-party tools and unlock new capabilities and workflows. Add-ons can also be accessed from the Share, Elements, Media, and Your stuff panels.

Publish Add-ons for developers

As a developer, you can share and publish your add-ons in two ways. 

1. Private listing: You can create a private link to share directly with specific users. They will be prompted to install the Add-ons only after opening the link. This method is great for collecting user feedback on an early version of your Add-on. 
2. Public listing: You can submit your Add-ons as a public listing to the Adobe Express add-on marketplace. Adobe will review and provide feedback on your Add-on, and once published, any user in Adobe Express can discover and use it.

Publish Add-ons for enterprise developers

As an enterprise customer of Adobe Express, you can create internal listings for your Add-ons instead of the public listing. These listings are only visible to users within your organization, making it easier to customize your Adobe Express experience without managing link-sharing or public availability.

Only developers who have received an Administrator or Developer role can publish their Add-on as an internal listing. These roles can be assigned to users in the Admin Console.

Removed add-ons

Adobe periodically reviews all publicly available add-ons to ensure consistent quality and stability. Add-ons that are found to be non-functional or contain severe bugs may be temporarily or permanently removed from Adobe Express.

The current list of removed add-ons includes:

• GenreX Music AI
• Night Vision
• Pic2Movie
• WeTransfer
