Copy color values instantly
Illustrator now lets you copy color values directly from the Color panel, Color Picker, New Swatches, or Swatch Options dialog box. You can pick any color, select to copy the hex values, and share them instantly across documents or brand assets.

Snapping in Illustrator is now more responsive, flexible, and accurate. With smarter guides, clearer visual feedback, and customizable snap settings, you can align shapes exactly where you need them—whether snapping to grids, rotated objects, or other elements.
Snap objects with precision
Snap precisely to the endpoint, midpoint, and center of any object with Smart Guides for faster, more consistent alignment across your design.
Create pixel-perfect designs with enhanced Snap to Grid
Enhanced Snap to Grid lets you position objects freely inside grid cells while still snapping to lines or intersections when needed. New dotted guides now give you clear visual feedback, making pixel-perfect alignment easier than ever.
Design sharper with enhanced Snap to Pixel
Enhanced Snap to Pixel keeps your artwork aligned to the pixel grid by eliminating half-pixel shifts and misleading alignment cues. Guides only appear between truly pixel-perfect objects, so your designs stay sharp and accurate for screen-based workflows.
Align objects faster with the Snapping Quick Access panel
Quickly toggle between Snap to Grid, Snap to Pixel, Snap to Point, and Smart Guides directly from the Snapping Quick Access panel under the Control bar. Use the panel to fine-tune snapping preferences instantly, like Alignment Guides and Snap to Glyph, for smoother, more accurate alignment without breaking your flow.
Snap accurately to rotated objects
You can now accurately align shapes and paths to the endpoint, midpoint, and center of any rotated object. The enhanced Smart Guides detect rotation angles automatically, making alignment consistent at any angle.
Limit snapping to current artboard and isolated objects
You can now limit snapping to objects only within the active artboard. You can also snap to isolated objects directly from the Preferences panel. This prevents unwanted alignment with elements outside your working area, keeping your edits focused and accurate.
Take control of snapping with advanced settings
Use the new advanced settings in smart guides to customize how objects align and snap on the canvas. Choose whether to force snap to grid, adjust snapping tolerance, or show guides during snapping so snapping adapts seamlessly to your work.
