Why do I see different charges in my bill?

If it’s been a while since you signed up, below are a few helpful reminders about your subscription (note that these details are also provided in the initial sign-up process and your order confirmation email):

  • Promotional or introductory price: Adobe offers promotional pricing that is limited in time. So, if you see a change in the amount charged, your plan may have been offered at a one-time promotional price for a limited period, which recently ended. Adobe offers further discounts for students and teachers, often through an introductory period. Your introductory period may have recently ended. Introductory pricing applies only for the first year. Upon renewal, standard Student Teacher Edition subscription rates apply.
  • Early Termination Fee: Adobe offers up to three different types of subscription choices. One type of subscription choice is an annual subscription with the ability to spread the payments out monthly. This annual, billed monthly subscription is offered to you at a significant discount as compared to a month-to-month subscription. If you cancel an annual, billed monthly plan early, Adobe may recoup that discount through an early termination fee.
  • Multiple accounts: You may have multiple accounts with Adobe, and you may have purchased through a different account (email address).

I didn't buy anything recently. Why is there a charge on my bill?

If it’s been a while since you signed up, below are a few helpful reminders about your subscription (note that these details are also provided in the initial sign-up process and your order confirmation email):

  • Free trial conversion: Adobe offers free trials that are limited in time. So, if you see a change in the amount you were recently charged, you may have agreed to start a free trial, which recently ended and your paid subscription began.
  • Annual renewal: Adobe offers up to three different types of subscription choices. One type of subscription choice is an annual subscription that is paid upfront and offered to you at a significant discount as compared to a month-to-month subscription. So, you may have purchased an annual plan last year, and it was recently renewed. For example, you might have purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro last year, and it was recently renewed.
