Once the user has been authenticated into the proper team or enterprise account, the user will need to select the correct profile from the User Profile drop-down menu.

Users can be part of multiple organizations that each have different options available, so it's important for users to ensure that they have selected the correct profile to be signed into the correct organization.

This guide is aimed at helping Adobe Enterprise users get access to their Substance Source downloads.

Entitlement

Enterprise users can be entitled to the Substance 3D Collection through the Admin Console.

The Substance 3D Collection is comprised of the Substance Desktop Applications and access to Substance 3D Assets.

Delegation

Substance 3D Collection

The Substance 3D Collection provides access to the Substance Desktop Applications and Substance 3D Assets.

In the Admin Console, an organization admin can assign a user to one of the licenses.

Once a user is assigned a license, access to applications and assets will automatically be made available.

Substance 3D - Unlimited Assets

For the Substance 3D - Unlimited Assets product, any user that has been added to the org automatically has access. There is no need to specifically delegate a license to a specific user. All users in an org are auto-delegated.

In the Admin Console, an admin can view all of the users in an organization.

In this screenshot of an organization’s user, the Substance 3D – Unlimited Assets icon next to the user’s account indicates that the user has been auto-delegated this license.

This auto-delegation for Substance 3D – Unlimited Assets assumes that the user in the org has some other type of Adobe entitlement. If the user you wish to have access to Substance 3D – Unlimited Assets does not have any other Adobe entitlement, please refer to the “Adding Entitlement using CCE Free” section at the bottom of this document.

Access

From the website

To access the Substance 3D Assets provided with the license, a user must go to the Substance 3D Assets website.

Login Process

To access the entitled assets, a delegated user must login to the Substance 3D Assets web portal. To Log in, use the log in button at the top right of the Substance 3D Assets web site. This will bring you to the Log in screen.

Adobe users need to select the “Login with Adobe” widget.

Once the user has successfully signed in, the user will be asked to “Select An Account”.

To access the assets of an enterprise organization, the user should choose the “Company or School Account” option.

This will place the user into the entitled Enterprise Account for the organization.

ORG Selection

Now that the user has been authenticated into the proper enterprise account, the user may need to select the correct profile from the User Profile drop-down menu.

This selection is necessary as a user can be part of multiple organizations that each have different asset pooling and profiles.

From this menu, select the organization profile that the user wishes to display.

From the Creative Cloud Desktop app

To access the 3D assets from the Substance 3D Assets library and send the assets directly to your Substance 3D desktop app of choice, open the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

You will find the Substance 3D Assets in the "3D" tab in "Stock & Marketplace".

Select your profile

On the left side navigation bar, click on "change" next to your selected profile.

Then click on the organization linked to your Substance 3D Subscription, and click "Select".

Usage

To view the assets that an organization has downloaded, an organization user can access the “Organization Assets” selection in the user navigation bar at the upper right hand corner of the web portal.

This will display to the user the assets that all the users in the organization have downloaded.

In the Organization Assets view, the user can also choose to display “Assets I Bought” or “Assets Others Bought”

Statistics

Usage statistics are not available in the Admin Console at this time.

User Entitlement with CCE Free

To enable general Adobe entitlement for users in an organization, the organization admin can simply entitle the user with the Creative Cloud for Enterprise – Free (CCE Free) offer.

This will ensure that the proper accounts are created for the user to access Substance Source – Unlimited Assets as a member of an enterprise organization. This is only necessary for the case where the user does not have any other type of Adobe entitlement.

In the Admin Console, the enterprise organization administrator can accept the Creative Cloud for Enterprise – Free (CCE Free) offer.

Once accepted, the organization admin can assign CCE Free to any member of their organization.
