Parameters
You will find below all the parameters from Bitmap 2 Material, allowing to control your material in a very precise way.
Parameters
Parameters
Image Inputs
Main Input: Import your main image input (required as it will drive all the maps generation)
Grunge (optional): Import a grunge map
Metallic (optional): Import a metallic map
Height (optional): Import a height map
Normal (optional): Import a normal map
Global Parameters
Random Seed: Randomizes the position of the patches when using the "Random" tiling method.
Method: Set the method used to extract the maps. Slope based uses light angle and main input slopes to create the maps. Luminance based uses the image luminosity to create the maps.
Light Angle: Only available with "Slope Based" method. Specifies the light direction in the Main Input image to help to extract correct informations from it.
Light Equalizer: Only available with "Luminance Based" method. Removes lighting informations in the Main Input image to help to extract correct informations from it.
MakeItTile : Makes the texture tile seamlessly and lets you choose between three different settings: No Tiling, Offset and Splat.
- Off: the bitmap will stay as is.
- Edges Quincunx: the texture will tile seamlessly using an offset/warp method.
- Edges Linear: the texture will tile seamlessly using successive offsets and warp. Better result with patterns (bricks for example).
- Edges Linear X: Same as before but on X axis only.
- Edges Linear Y: Same as before but on Y axis only.
- Random: the texture will tile seamlessly by randomly splatting patches of the original texture.
Tiling Transition Precision: Sets how sharp should be the transition between the original image and offset area.
Tiling Random Angle Variation : Randomizes the angle of each texture patch if you are using the "Random" tiling method.
Invert Relief: Invert the generated relief. It will modify all the generated maps (Height, Normal, Roughness, AO,etc.).
Relief Parameters
Relief Balance: Smooth/Sharpen the normal and height maps depending on the values.
Normal Intensity: Controls the strength of the normal output.
Normal Format: Sets the normal format between DirectX and OpenGL.
Displacement Map Resolution: Sets the displacement map resolution to match with your tessellation rate.
Relief Input: Allows you to use relief input :"Height (optional)" or "Normal (optional)" depending of the option value.
Normal Input Format: Sets the "Normal (optional)" input format.
Relief Input Blending Mode: Sets the blending mode between the generated and the optional input relief. ("Height (optional)" or "Normal (optional)").
Relief Input Opacity: Sets the opacity of the relief input ("Height (optional)" or "Normal (optional)").
Relief Pinch: Makes relief related maps sharper.
Relief Pinch Radius: Changes the range of frequencies modified by Relief Pinch.

Shadows Cancel Coef: Sets the intensity of shadows cancellation on the Diffuse and Base Color outputs. Available when "Light Cancellation" is different from 0.
Shadows Colors From Image Average: Uses an average chrominance of Main Input in the canceled shadows areas on the Diffuse and Base Color outputs. Available when "Light Cancellation" is different from 0.
Shadows Saturation: Saturates canceled shadows to avoid hollow effect on the Diffuse and Base Color outputs. Available when "Light Cancellation" is different from 0.
Highlights Cancel Coef: Sets the intensity of highlights cancellation on the Diffuse and Base Color outputs. Available when "Light Cancellation" is different from 0.
Highlights Colors From Image Average: Uses an average chrominance of Main Input in the canceled highlights areas on the Diffuse and Base Color outputs. Available when "Light Cancellation" is different from 0.
Highlights Saturation: Saturates canceled highlights to avoid burnt effect on the Diffuse and Base Color outputs. Available when "Light Cancellation" is different from 0.
AO Cancellation: Cancels ambient shadows of the Main Input.
AO Radius: Defines the Ambient Occlusion output radius. It will also affect the "AO Cancellation" effect.
Diffuse Details: Sharpens edges where lighting has been canceled.
Metal Color Replacement: Sets a color to use in metal areas.
Metal Color Replacement Intensity: Sets the interpolation value between the image input original metal color and the one set in the previous option.
Roughness | Glossiness Parameters
Roughness Value: Sets the roughness average value.
Metal Roughness Influence: Allows to modify the roughness map locally depending on the metallic map. Negative values : Material will be smoother in metal areas.Positive values: Material will be rougher in metal areas. Also sets the glossiness map.
Roughness Variations From Curves: Applies variations on the roughness based on the Main Input.
Roughness Variations Softness: Sets how soft the variations are.
Roughness From Color: Sets the range and softness of the area created from keying.
Roughness From Color Keying Mode: Allows to choose the way the area will be set depending on the selection a specified color.
Roughness From Color Keying Color: Sets the color which will define the area with a different roughness value.
Roughness From Color Keying Settings: Sets the settings of the selected area, its range and it's softness.
Roughness From Color Value: Sets the roughness value of this area.
