Understand the End User License Agreement (EULA) that describes the permitted rights and uses of your font. You can easily access fonts across devices and apps using the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Note
The font file must be either a TrueType (.ttf) font or an OpenType (.otf) font with a maximum size of 512MB.
You can access your fonts on any device using your Adobe ID from the Fonts menu in various Adobe applications. However, it’s important to avoid any features or workflows that violate your EULA.
Your desktop font EULA may prohibit some use cases. For example:
- Embedding the font in a PDF or an e-book
- Using the font in work meant to be distributed for commercial purposes
- Copying the fonts for storage or distribution with the Package feature
You can also upload the font to Adobe Express to use on a public webpage. However, if you plan to use a font on a website, ensure you have a valid web license and accompanying EULA.
If you're unsure whether your font license allows uploading to Creative Cloud or using it in specific workflows, contact the font foundry, designer, or reseller from whom you purchased the font.
