How to invite your collaborators to edit cloud documents

Easily collaborate with your teammates by inviting them to edit your cloud documents. Collaboration with cloud documents happens online. So you must first save your file as a cloud document.

Invite others to edit in Creative Cloud apps

Once you save your files as cloud documents, you can invite your teammates to edit them. Learn how you can invite your collaborators to edit your cloud documents in the following Creative Cloud apps:

What should I know before inviting collaborators to edit my files?

  • All the ways you can invite: You can invite your collaborators to edit your cloud documents directly from the apps, the Creative Cloud desktop app, or the Creative Cloud website
  • Simultaneous versus co-editing: In Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Fresco, only one collaborator can edit a cloud document at a time (called asynchronous editing). In Adobe XD, multiple collaborators can work on a cloud document at the same time and view changes in real time. Edits are saved as you work together.
