Learn more about the Assignments feature in Adobe Express.

Assignments in Adobe Express is a feature that allows educators to easily create assignments with their students within the Adobe Express workflow. Educators can choose from a wide variety of project types to assign – from presentations to animations, posters, drawings, videos, collages, webpages, newsletters, and much more.

With assignments:

  • Educators can monitor student progress in real-time and comment on student work as soon as a student starts an assignment, not only when they submit it. This allows educators to offer direct feedback and support throughout the project cycle.
  • Students can collaborate in real-time with their peers, one-on-one or in a group, supporting the development of important communication and teamwork skills.
  • Educators can differentiate instruction by tailoring assignments and feedback to individual student needs without singling them out.
  • Educators can integrate with the most widely used LMS platforms.
  • Educators can link Adobe Express Assignments to their everyday tools, like Canvas, Google Classroom, Schoology, and more.

Who can use assignments?

Assignments are used differently by educators, administrators, and students with Adobe Express Education accounts. Only educators and school or district administrators can create assignments in Adobe Express. Students associated with educators or administrators can access Assignments created for them and shared by educators/administrators. Students must have Adobe Express Education accounts to access Assignments shared with them. K-12 educators, administrators, and students can access Adobe Express accounts for free.
