Link Team Projects to one another to effectively manage your project on the cloud with multiple remote collaborators.
You can manage your projects more effectively by linking Team Projects. For example, you can split your project into smaller and more manageable Team Projects, and collaborators can link these to their primary Team Projects per their needs. This organized approach using Linked Team Projects allows collaborators to work with only the required media or sequences instead of adding all the media or sequences in one project.
Manageable projects during collaboration
Organized and easily manageable smaller linked Team Projects that contain only relevant assets for a specific segment.
Lower backup sequences during collaborations
Projects with smaller linked Team Projects mean fewer sequence backups and lower scan and sync time for changes.
Scalable collaboration approach
Flexibility to split a large project into multiple Team Projects depending on your needs and what works for you.
-
You can also create linked Team Projects by choosing the context menu in the project panel. Right-click the project panel and choose New item > Linked Team Project.
Note:Before creating linked Team Projects, ensure that you have already opened an existing project or created a new one.
-
In the Manage Team Project dialog, select the existing Team Projects that you want to link and select Link. At this stage, you can also create Team Projects by selecting New Team Project and link it to another project.
Linked Team Projects appear in the project panel, as shown in the screenshot. In this case, the Video Promo 1 team project is linked to the Video Promo Team Projects. So, whenever you open the Video Promo 1 Team Projects, a link appears to indicate the connection that was established between these two Team Projects.
