Learn how to create an artboard in your project canvas to start working on your mood board.

When creating a mood board, start by setting up the artboard. This helps you define the size and layout, visualize the space, and see how your visual elements fit together. It ensures your selected visuals flow well, capture the intended theme, and stay organized.

  1. On the Firefly homepage, select Firefly Boards.

  2. On the Firefly Boards page, select Create new.

  3. Select the Artboard   icon from the left toolbar.

    The Artboard icon is selected and a new artboard is added to the canvas.
    Use the Artboard option to create one or multiple artboards and start organizing your design elements.

  4. Draw the artboard on the canvas by using the click-drag action.

  5. You can use the Properties panel to modify the artboard's attributes, such as blend mode, opacity, and color, as well as other characteristics, such as size, position, and rotation.

    The artboard is selected and the Properties panel is open to adjust its properties, including transparency, color, and Blend mode.

  6. You can add images, shapes, and text by dragging and dropping them inside the artboard and arranging them to suit your theme and composition.

    All the visual elements in the canvas are selected and added to a artboard.
    Select visual elements, drag them onto the artboard, and position them as desired.

    Note:

    If you've already arranged the visual elements of your mood board and want them inside an artboard, you can select them all, select the option, and then select Artboard from selection.
