Update payment details for your Teams account

Last updated on Aug 7, 2026

Update the credit card, debit card, PayPal account, billing address, or tax information associated with your Teams subscription in Adobe Admin Console.

Note
  • Only contract owners can modify payment details.
  • For plans purchased through a reseller, contact the reseller for invoices and billing information.

Manage payment information

Follow the steps in the procedure to update payment information for Teams memberships purchased from Adobe.com.

Sign in to Admin Console.

Go to Account to view your contract and payment details.

Select Edit next to Payment method.

If you manage multiple contracts, select the contract name.

Select a payment method.

  • For credit or debit cards, update the required details. If you're using a corporate card, you must use the cardholder's name and billing address. To verify the correct name and billing address, check with the cardholder or your accounting department.
  • For PayPal, sign in to authenticate and confirm your account details.

Enter or update your tax identification number if applicable to your region. The name of the tax ID field depends on the tax identification number used in your country, such as a VAT ID or GST ID.

Select Save to apply the changes. All system admins receive email notification when payment information changes.

Note
  • Your updated payment details are used for all existing and future invoices.
  • If you manage multiple subscriptions linked to the same credit card, updating the card information for one subscription updates all subscriptions using that card.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't my credit card being accepted?

Check the following:

  • Enter the card number without spaces or dashes.
  • Ensure the billing name and address match the information on your card statement.
  • If you're using a corporate card, use the cardholder's name and billing address.
  • Verify that the card hasn't expired.
  • Confirm that the card is within its available credit limit.
  • Ensure the card supports online transactions and is in good standing with your financial institution.

If the issue persists, contact your bank or financial institution for assistance.

How can I verify that a payment was successful?

After a payment is processed successfully, Adobe sends a confirmation email. Updated invoices typically appear in Account > Billing History within 24 hours.

What happens if a payment fails?

You receive a notification that your payment could not be processed. Payment failures can occur for several reasons, including:

  • An expired card
  • A replacement card being issued
  • Changes to billing information
  • Exceeded credit limits
  • Bank fraud-prevention measures

If a payment fails, update your payment information as soon as possible. Adobe continues attempting to process payment for up to 30 days after the first failed payment. If the issue isn't resolved within that period, the subscription is suspended.

How can I retry a failed payment?

Update your payment information and select Save. Saving your payment details automatically attempts payment processing again.

If your payment information hasn't changed, re-enter the existing details and save them to trigger another payment attempt.

How long do I have to fix a payment issue?

You have up to 30 days from the first failed payment to update your payment information. Adobe continues attempting payment during this period. If the issue remains unresolved after 30 days, your subscription is suspended.

Why do I still see a billing error after updating my payment information?

If you've already updated your payment information and the payment was processed successfully, sign out of Adobe Admin Console and sign back in to refresh your account information.

Which payment methods are supported?

Adobe accepts credit and debit cards for Teams subscriptions in supported countries and regions. PayPal is available in select countries.

Customers in eligible EMEA countries may also be able to purchase subscriptions using SEPA Direct Debit.

For phone orders of US$2,500 or more, purchase orders may be accepted. Purchase orders aren't available for standard online purchases. Contact the sales team for more information.

Can I remove payment information from my account?

As part of our data security standards, Adobe doesn't store your credit card information on its servers and instead uses an encrypted token number to process your payment.

To remove payment information from your account, you'll need to cancel the subscription. Contact Adobe Customer Support through Admin Console > Support for assistance.
