Edit specific areas within an image using the Quick select brush.

  1. Select Select area > Quick select brush  .

  2. Select the area that you’d like to modify.

  3. Adjust the brush Size and Hardness to get the desired brush stroke, if necessary.

  4. Select the more options   menu and choose from the following as needed:

    • Load mask into selection: Add your layer's existing mask to the selection you're creating.
    • Select all: Select all content in the active layer.
    • Brush smart scale: Keep the brush size consistent relative to your phone's screen when you zoom in or out.
    • Sample all layers: Select multiple layers to apply changes to.
    • Invert selection: Invert the selection so deselected area becomes the selection.
    • Clear selection: Clear the selection.
  5. Once the selection looks good, select the checkmark  .

    Refine your image further with other tools like Select area, Adjust area, and Generative fill.
