Share links to a cloud document

You can create and share a link to any file or folder you have, except for shared private folders where you have view-only permissions. If the owner later decides to make the folder private, the link you shared earlier won't work.

  1. Sign in to Adobe Home.

  2. In the Files tab, select the file that you want to share, and then select  Share.

The Files tab in Adobe Home shows your files and the options to open, share, rename, duplicate, move, download, or delete a selected cloud file.
You can share only one file at a time.

    Note:

If you encounter the message Administrators already have access, it indicates that you're inviting an administrator. However, you can still copy the link and share it with them.

  3. In the Share document window, select the settings icon   and set the link settings you want for the file:

    • Comment: Allow the link recipients to add comments to the file.
    • Save a copy: Allow the link recipients to save the file to their Creative Cloud account.
The Share Document window shows the users with access to the file, and options to select who has access to the file, copy the link, and view the file sharing settings.
You can choose to allow only invited people to access your file or anyone with the link.

    Note:

All public links allow downloading of the linked file. If you created a link with Save a copy turned off, the download button isn't shown for those files.

  4. Select the back icon   to return to the Share document window, and then select Copy Link.

    Note:

Link recipients cannot upload, update, or delete your assets. You can revoke access anytime you want.

To share links to Creative Cloud files from the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to the Files tab and select the file you want to share. Select Share   to get the link. Once you see the Share document dialogue box, follow the on-screen instructions to share links with the desired recipients.

Share links to libraries and library assets

Your collaborators can follow shared libraries and library assets. Whenever you update them, followers automatically get an update across all supported Creative Cloud apps.

  1. Sign in to Adobe Home.

  2. Select the library that you want to share, and select Share

The selection menu shows the options to open, copy link, share, duplicate or move a selected file or library.
You can also select Copy Link to get the link for your library. However, you won't be able to set share settings.

  3. Select the share settings from the drop-down menu and select Copy Link

The Share library window shows the dropdown menu to select access settings and the button to copy the link for your library.
You can also add people or groups by entering the email addresses in the Add people or groups field.

  2. Navigate to the Published tab.

    Go to the Published tab

  3. To send a link to recipients, select the More actions icon () for the file, and then select Copy Link.

    Select copy link
