Learn how to add shapes to your artboard and customize their properties and appearance to enhance your mood board.

Using shapes in your mood board can enhance the visual impact and help you emphasize key ideas or themes. Additionally, shapes help organize content by creating a structured layout and transform your mood board to have a cohesive visual theme.

Firefly Boards (beta) has a context menu and Properties panel which get enabled when a shape is selected in the canvas. This allows you to customize shape properties and appearance to suit your mood board.

  1. Select the Shape option from the left toolbar to access the available shapes - Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, and Arrow.

There are images on the canvas, and a shape has been added. The Properties panel is open, offering options to edit its properties.
Use the shape editing controls and the Properties panel to customize and refine the shapes on your canvas.

  2. Use the cursor to draw the shape, then adjust its properties and arrangement on the canvas.

  3. Use the Properties   icon to activate the Properties panel, where you can modify shape attributes like blend mode, opacity, and color, as well as other settings such as size, position, and rotation.
