Learn how to generate and share diagnostic logs when Lightroom for mobile crashes.

When Lightroom for mobile quits unexpectedly, generate the diagnostics logs and share them with the Adobe Customer Care team.

 

Lightroom for mobile (iOS)

  1. Launch the Lightroom app and select Settings .

  2. From Lightroom settings, select Help & Support.

  3. Select and hold Access our Support Forum.

  4. Select Create in the App Diagnostics dialog box.

    Note

    Lightroom will start generating the logs.

  5. Once generated successfully, the diagnostic logs will be attached to the mail. You can then share the logs.

Lightroom for mobile (Android)

Report an issue

  1. Launch the Lightroom app and select More   > Help & Support > Report an issue.

  2. In the Report an issue screen, enter the following option:

    • Choose a topic for your feedback: Select the option from the drop-down list as per your feedback.
    • Please describe your issue: Type your issue in detail.
    Report an issue screen is displayed with two fields of choose a topic of feedback and description of issue with cancel and submit button.
    Select the option from the drop-down list.

  3. Select Submit.

Send Diagnostic log

  1. Launch the Lightroom app and select More   > Help & Support > Enable Diagnostic Mode.

  2. Perform the sequence of steps that caused the issue once the message appears.

    A coachmark is displayed over diagnostic log screen, letting user know to recreate steps for the issue.
    Select the close button to re-create the steps.

  3. Once done, select Help & Support > Send Diagnostic Log.

  4. After the logs are generated, you will see a list of apps to share them with.

    Select the application where you want to send the log file.

    Note

    The receiver's email will be prefilled.
