Manage AI Edits

  1. Open and edit a photo using AI-powered features like Masking, Gen AI Remove, Lens Blur, and more.

    Note:

Update AI edits   button appears when the edits are not done in the recommended order.

  2. Select Update AI Status   to view the details of all the edits made with AI-powered features.

Update AI edits button is highlighted over the church image in Loupe view.
Select the Update AI Edits button to update all invalid edits on the image.

The AI Edit Status button is available on Adobe Camera Raw, Lightroom on desktop, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom on mobile, and Lightroom on the web.

Caution:

AI Status settings don't work in the following scenarios:

  • When there is no network or internet connection.
  • When the device has low storage, the AI updated image can’t be downloaded.
  • When the account is free or the trial version has expired.

Note:
  • When some AI edits are pasted to an image or applied from a previous image, the Update AI Edits   will appear, as the AI edits need to be computed.
  • Unsupported edits, such as Denoise, Generative Expand, and Remove Reflections, will be removed when editing on an Android device.
