Change the background using Auto Background

Learn how to change the background of any image automatically using Auto Background in Adobe Elements Web (Beta).

Create Auto-backgrounds in Elements on the web (Beta).

You can automatically change the background of the photos you’ve stored in the cloud. Go to the Creations screen and select Auto Background card to begin. Add media and select Continue. Choose from a number of backgrounds.

Use the Creations screen to create slideshows and photo collages.
Use the Creations screen to apply Auto Background.

You can also change the Background Automatically directly from the Media screen by choosing the desired media > Select Create button > Auto Background in the action bar. You can also apply background from media stock.

Once you enter the workflow, you'll observe various Auto Background created using your photo. Select them for a full-screen preview. 

From inside the creation, you can select Replace Media to replace the photo and generate pattern overlay recommendations for another photo.

Check out various Pattern Overlay presets available for your photo.
Select the Replace Media button to replace the photo.

Once done, you can download your creations as JPEG or PNG files or share them to Facebook via email or via link. Also, you can select the Save button to save the project and edit it in the future.
