Draw elliptical selections with the Ellipse tool

Select Select area > Ellipse  .

Select Ellipse again to access the more   menu and adjust the Feather slider to define the feathering width as needed.

Draw an elliptical selection border over the area you’d like to select.

Select the more options   menu and choose from the following as needed:

• Load mask into selection: Add your layer's existing mask to the selection you're creating.
• Select all: Select all content in the active layer.
• Invert selection: Invert the selection so that the deselected area becomes the selection.
• Clear selection: Clear the selection.

Once the selection looks good, select the checkmark  .
