From the Shapes nested tools in the toolbar, select the desired Shape tool from the available options - Rectangle, Ellipse, Triangle, Polygon, and Line.

Select and drag on the canvas to draw a shape with the selected shape tool.
- Hold the Shift key while drawing to make your shapes proportional.
- With the shape layer selected, use the Move tool to move the shape around and reposition on the canvas.
Note:With the Shapes tool active, you can even use the following Path select options to select shapes.
- All layers: This option allows you to select shapes across all layers in your document.
- Active layers: This option allows you to select shapes only on the active layers.

Select the desired Shape Preset.
Tip:Shape Presets are pre-defined shapes available for quick selection to create graphical elements in your documents. They include basic geometric shapes (rectangles, circles, polygons) and complex custom shapes (arrows, stars, and more).

You can further edit the shape properties by either using the Contextual task bar or accessing them in the Properties panel. Some of these properties are listed below:
- Fill: Choose a color to fill the shape.
- Stroke: Choose the color, width, and type of your shape stroke.
- Blend: Choose the desired blend mode for the shape.
- W&H: Set the width and height of the shape.
- Angle: Set the desired angle for the shape.
- Flip: Flip your shape designs horizontally or vertically.
- Effects: Apply effects to the shape designs.
- Corner radius: Set the desired corner radius for the shape.

In the Main menu, select Export as and choose the desired format. Then, select Save.
