Follow along with any project to learn how to retouch images. 

Generate similar   allows you to iterate and generate similar variations based on an existing one. 

  1. On the Photoshop on the web homepage, under Start something new, select Upload an image and browse for a file on your device.

  2. Select Select in the toolbar, then choose one of the tools, such as Lasso or Rectangular marquee, to make a selection.

  3. In the Contextual task bar that appears, select Generative fill .    

    Note:

    Generative fill deducts one standard generative credit per generation.

  4. Type an effective prompt in the What would you like to generate textbox.

  5. Optionally, select the icon to upload a reference image. Then, select Generate .

  6. Select the desired variation from the Contextual task bar that you’d like to keep as a reference to generate similar variations.

  7. Select More actions > Generate similar.

    Tip:
    • You can also access Generate similar under the Variations tab in the Properties panel by selecting the More actions icon available on the generated variation. 
    • Select the  icon to generate more variations of the desired image based on the current prompt and Layer Properties  to edit the text prompt and generate another image.
  8. Select Download.
