Install the Photoshop Chrome extension and open an image

Learn how to install the Adobe Photoshop browser extension and make quick edits in the Photoshop Chrome extension.

Install and pin the Adobe Photoshop extension in Google Chrome

Open Google Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store.

In the search bar, search for the Adobe Photoshop extension and select from the results.

Select Add to Chrome, then select Add extension to confirm.

In the upper-right corner of Chrome, select the Extensions icon.

Select the Adobe Photoshop extension from the list, then pin the icon next to it.

Open an image in the Photoshop extension

Go to a webpage that contains an image.

Use one of the following methods to open the image in Photoshop on web:

  • Ps badge: Hover over the image and select the Ps badge that appears.
  • Right-click menu: Right-click the image and select Add to Photoshop Extension.
Note

If you don’t see Add to Photoshop Extension, open the image in a new browser tab and try again.

If you’re not already signed in, sign in to your Adobe account.

Make quick edits to the image as it opens in the Photoshop Extension. To continue working in the full editor, select Edit in Photoshop on the web.
