Learn how to download previous versions of non-subscription Adobe apps.

You can download previous versions of non-subscription Adobe apps such as Acrobat, Photoshop Elements, Creative Suite 5, 5.5, and 6, or Adobe Premiere Elements. If you purchased your app from a store or an online retailer, register it first before downloading.

Download and register older versions of your Adobe apps

Sign in to your Adobe account.

Note

If you purchased your app from a store or an online retailer, register it first to see if the installer is available for download. Need help finding your serial number?

Enter the serial number for your app, and then select Register

The Serial number field on the Products page in your Adobe account allows you to register older versions of your non-subscription apps.
A serial number is required to activate, reinstall, or upgrade your product.

In the Registered products section, select Download for the app you want to download.

The Registered products section in the Products page of your Adobe account shows all the registered apps, and allows you to download and install the app.
You can only download the apps that have already been registered.

Download the installer for your app.

If multiple versions appear, select the one that matches the language and operating system you originally purchased. Your serial number only works with that version.

The Download window opens after you click the Download button for your app under Registered products., and provides the option to download the installation file for your app.
You can find the downloaded file in your computer's Downloads folder.

Open the downloaded installer (.exe for Windows, .dmg for macOS, or .bin for Linux) and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the setup process.

Unavailable apps and download limitations

Some apps are no longer available to download. If you purchased your app from Adobe.com or registered your app but don't see a download link, it's no longer available. For example, Creative Suite 4 and earlier versions are not accessible.
