Use the License assignment reports to track your organization's license assignment data and plan your users' license deployments. License assignment data only supports named user licenses for Creative Cloud and Document Cloud products purchased under the Enterprise Term License Agreement.

To track your organization's license assignment data, navigate to Admin Console > Insights.

Overview

Adobe Admin Console - License Assignment report

License assignment data helps you track assigned licenses versus the purchased quantity. It's measured for all your applicable products since the last anniversary date or Enterprise Term and License Agreement (ETLA) start date. Refer to the common questions below for any exceptions.

System admins see the license assignment data as graphs in the Admin Console's Insights tab. It helps the organizations (with ETLA) track their historical license assignments. Data is available in Monthly view and Year-to-date view.

System administrators can also run a report at any time to download the data shown on the dashboard.

View and use license assignment reports

Sign in to the Adobe Admin Console with your system admin credentials. Navigate to the Insights tab to use the following:

Dashboard

The dashboard displays a graphical view of each product's historical assignment. Choose any product from the list on the left to view its Year-to-date and Monthly view. Each graph shows the licenses assigned in the selected period.

The following images show the difference between the two views:

Year-to-date view shows the highest license assignment in each month.

Monthly view shows the highest license assignment for each day in the contract month.

Licenses

The number of purchased licenses for a given product. In successive years from purchase, this number also reflects additional licenses purchased by the organization via add-on, true up, etc.

Assigned

The number of licenses that were assigned to the users in the organization.

Reports

Create and download a license assignment report for your chosen date range to download the data displayed on the dashboard.

The license assignment report shows the highest daily license assignment for each of the purchased products. Each product has a unique row for each day of the entered date range.

Note:

Assignment data is updated regularly starting June 18, 2020. Earlier data is unavailable. You can only enter dates after June 18, 2020, in the Date range section.

To create a report, go to Insights > Reports License assignment > Create > enter Date range > click Create.

All system admins have access to create and download the report from the Download reports menu.
