The complimentary membership gives all team members access to the Adobe Express free plan, Acrobat free online services, and other benefits to enhance team collaboration across Adobe products. Read on to learn more.

All users added to a Creative Cloud for teams organization in the Adobe Admin Console are automatically eligible for the complimentary membership. You can add more users at any time to grant them access.

We are rolling out the complimentary membership in phases. Once available, it will be added to your existing contract. To view it, sign in to the Admin Console and navigate to Accounts > Account Overview > Plans and licenses.

Users can activate their membership by signing into the identified application with their Adobe account.

Prerequisites

Eligible organizations will automatically receive access to the complimentary membership in the Adobe Admin Console.

Your organization may need to review and accept Adobe's revised Terms and Conditions to activate the complimentary membership. As a system administrator, you can accept the terms anytime once made available. If acceptance is required, a prompt will appear when you sign in to the Admin Console. To review the terms at any time, select the Notification   icon in the Admin Console.

Key benefits

  • Access to Adobe Express free plan, Acrobat free online services, and additional benefits for all users in your Adobe Admin Console, whether they have app assignments or not.
  • Better collaboration for designers and stakeholders by allowing them to sign in to Adobe Express and Acrobat Reader with their business credentials, making it easy to review and provide feedback.
  • Enhanced security, including existing sharing restrictions, organization control measures, and data protection for all collaborators.

Included apps and services

Users get 5GB cloud storage as part of the complimentary membership along with the following apps and services:

Free version of Adobe Express to help users create and edit content for flyers, brochures, social media posts, and PDF files. Users can generate images from text descriptions and apply one-click edits. They can also produce professional videos using drag-and-drop tools to edit and combine video clips, artwork, animation, and music.

Acrobat free online services to help users securely view, share, fill out and sign, collaborate, annotate, and comment on PDFs on desktop, web, and mobile, as well as in integrations with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and other extensions. The complimentary membership also includes five Requests for AI Assistant in Acrobat.

A limited number of generative credits may be provided for the Adobe Firefly web app, where users can create images, modify objects, and transform text using simple prompts in over 100 languages. Our generative AI is designed to be commercially safe, so users can generate content for public and commercial use with greater peace of mind. The number of credits and terms are subject to change.

Creative Cloud Libraries allow users to access design elements across all Creative Cloud apps, ensuring consistency throughout your projects. Users can easily access approved brand kits and templates through Creative Cloud Libraries in Adobe Express, keeping all your content on brand.

Access to the free Adobe Stock collection that includes over 1 million photos, graphics, and videos that can be used for personal or commercial purposes.

Creative Cloud assets allow access to Creative Cloud content where users can open, review, and comment on shared InDesign and XD files.

Common questions

How can I manage access to the included apps and services?

Access to included apps and services is automatically available for all Admin Console users and cannot be managed or modified.

Who retains ownership of assets created by users with the complimentary membership?

Your organization owns the user accounts and their associated assets. When a user leaves the organization or you delete a user's account, you can reclaim the user’s assets and transfer them to a delegated user.

Are users with current licenses entitled to the additional 5GB storage provided with the complimentary membership?

Users who already have paid licenses with included storage will benefit from an additional 5GB, which is cumulative. For example, if a user’s paid Creative Cloud for enterprise subscription provides 100GB of storage, the inclusion of 5GB from the complimentary membership will increase their total storage capacity to 105GB.

What happens when I cancel my plan?

Canceling your plan retains the complimentary benefits. Team members can continue to access these benefits by signing in with their business profile.

Caution

If you are over the 5GB storage limit after canceling, reduce your online usage within 30 days to avoid losing access to files on Creative Cloud.
