Increase, reduce, or mute volume

Learn how to adjust the audio levels of your clips in Premiere on iPhone.

You can adjust the loudness of your audio by increasing, reducing, or muting the volume of a clip. The volume control panel gives you a slider to control levels and quick options to reset or apply changes to all clips in your project.

Tap on the clip you want to adjust the audio of.

At the bottom of the screen, tap Volume.

The Volume control panel opens with a slider:

  • To increase the volume: Move the slider to the right.
  • To reduce the volume: Move the slider to the left.
  • To mute the volume: Tap the volume icon at the beginning of the slider.

In the top-left corner of the panel, you’ll see two icons:

  • Tap on the Undo icon to reset the changes.
  • Tap on the Apply to all clips icon to apply the same adjustment to every clip in the same track.
