Import videos and images to create a new project

Learn how to quickly bring your media into Premiere on iPhone to start your edit.

Creating a project begins with importing your images and videos. You can select media from your device or cloud storage and arrange it in the order you want.

On the home screen, choose how you want to get started:

  • New from photo library: Select photos and videos from your device's gallery or camera roll.
  • New from files: Add media from your file manager or from third-party cloud storage apps already installed on your device, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.
  • New blank project: Start fresh with an empty timeline and add media later.
  • New project using the Create new icon: Import photos and videos directly from your gallery or camera roll to start editing right away.

Start your project the way you prefer—import from your photo library, browse files, or begin with a blank timeline.

Tap to select the videos and images you want to use.

Once the videos and images are added to the timeline, you can long press the thumbnails to reorder your selection in the sequence you prefer.

Tip

Select multiple photos and videos at once to save time.
