The Help Assistant in Adobe Connect offers an AI-powered conversational interface designed to streamline finding answers to your Adobe Connect-related queries. It helps you access product knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and explore information available in the Adobe Connect User Guide.

Important
  • The Help Assistant is designed solely for requests related to Adobe Connect.
  • It's available exclusively for hosted accounts and registered hosts of a room.
    • Attendees who enter the room with a host role will continue to have access to the Help Assistant even if they are later demoted to presenter or participant roles.
    • However, attendees who join the room as presenters or participants will not have access to the Help Assistant.

Privacy, Security, and Governance

The Adobe Connect Help Assistant is designed with a strong focus on privacy, security, and governance. Here’s what you can expect:

  • The Help Assistant does not use any personal data, including for training purposes.
  • It does not have access to consumer data.
  • The Help Assistant does not access or share any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and does not share data across different customers.
  • It does not have access to any content or data uploaded within the room or to any data from interactions that take place inside the room.
  • Any prompts provided by users (such as questions or queries) are not shared with other customers.

Manage access control

Account administrators can control the availability of the Help Assistant feature through the Compliance and control settings in Adobe Connect Central.

How to enable Help Assistant

Perform the following steps to enable the Help Assistant feature:

  1. Navigate to Admin tab in Adobe Connect Central.

  2. Select Compliance and Control, and then select Generative AI settings tab.

  3. Select Enable Help Assistant.

  4. Select Save to apply the changes.

Note

To disable the Help Assistant feature, deselect Enable Help Assistant.

How to use the Adobe Connect Help Assistant

  1. Select the Help Assistant icon in the top menu bar of the room layout.

    Note

    When launching the Help Assistant for the first time, you must provide your consent before using it. The consent dialog will only appear during this initial launch. For all subsequent launches, you will be taken directly to the Help Assistant to enter your prompts.

  2. Select Get started. You're now ready to use the Help Assistant.

  3. Type your prompt and hit Enter or select to submit the prompt.

    The response appears in the Help Assistant.

  • Adding a Custom pod
    • Prompt: "How do I add a custom pod to my Adobe Connect session?"
    • Response: The Adobe Connect Help Assistant will guide you through the steps to add a custom pod, including navigating to the Pods menu, selecting the type of pod you want to add, and configuring its settings.
  • Sharing a file in a session
    • Prompt: "How can I share a file with participants during my session?"
    • Response: The Adobe Connect Help Assistant will provide instructions on how to upload and share files, including selecting the Share pod, choosing the file from your computer, and managing file permissions.
  • Using a Breakout room
    • Prompt: "What are the steps to create and manage breakout rooms?"
