Learn how to pop out video from video pod to enhance focus while sharing your screen during the Adobe Connect session.

The video pop-out feature allows hosts to pop out up to two video cells from the video pod into a frameless, floating pod that can fit on top of other content. These video cells can be moved and resized while maintaining their aspect ratio and persist across different layouts. This feature is particularly useful for main speakers, instructors, teaching assistants, and sign language interpreters. For example, a main speaker can have their video prominently displayed over a presentation, a teaching assistant can provide visual support without interrupting the main content, and a sign language interpreter can be clearly visible alongside the speaker's video.

Here are a few things to learn about the pop-out videos:

  • The host can pop out videos of at most two attendees at once.
  • The popped-out video always opens in the bottom-right corner of the layout.
  • To resize the popped-out window, drag it from the edge diagonally.
  • Popped-out video can't be moved to the backstage.
  • The breakout rooms don't support popped-out videos. If a popped-out video is active when starting a breakout room, it will be restored in the video pod.
  • The popped-out video will remain in the room even when switching layouts.
