Learn how to add point text.
Select Type from the toolbar. Then, select anywhere in the canvas to enter the type mode.
Note
By default, when a type layer is created, sample text appears within a bounding box.
Select anywhere inside the bounding box to begin typing your desired text.
In the Properties panel, you can further modify Text, Dimensions, and add Effects.
Select Done to save your edits to the type layer. Select Cancel to exit the Type mode.
Tip
Select Move to move the text to a different location on the canvas.
